Origins takes you on a wondrous and spectacular journey of Mexico’s history through dance and music. Touring internaionally since 2009, this dance and music troupe from Manzanillo, Mexico, features ancient instruments and elegant regional costumes. Performers are from the Manzanillo community and Casa Hogar Los Angelitos, a one-of-a-kind orphanage and children’s home, rescuing and healing children from situations of abuse, abandonment, and poverty.

We invite you to come and experience the joy, confidence, hope, skill, leadership and enthusiasm these youth radiate and see Mexico as you’ve never imagined!

It’s a great opportunity to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexico’s Independence Day!

TCF, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, invests in children and believes it is necessary to provide children not only a safe shelter, food, clothing, and medical attention; but, equally providing them love, compassion, education, and opportunities with sports, faith and the arts to help heal and develop the whole child.

Children coming out of alarming situations are given opportunities at Casa Hogar Los Angelitos (CHLA) to discover they truly can break the cycle of poverty and become productive leaders in their community. We are raising awareness and funds to support CHLA, a one-of-a-kind orphanage and children’s home in Manzanillo. The Expressive Arts program at CHLA is exceptional and it is through this program we have Ballet Folklorico Los Angelitos with the current tour, Origins.

"I love the applause of the audience, it gives me energy and satisfaction!"
